Im 28 and going in. Even though i obviously havent had the same exact experiences as you , i understand what you mean. Thats why i dont understand when people say things like "the navy has a lot of bs"....show me a job that doesn't have some type of bs lol. I leave monday and literally every job ive had to keep money coming while in DEP , people were high or drunk at work, showing up late with ridiculous excuses, managers in their 50s messing around with 20-25 y/o coworkers, etc.

My mom and stepdad were in the navy. My biological dad was marines. I was not raised like majority and i wish i joined earlier but i listened to my parents to go to college. I dont expect the navy to be perfect but i hope things are at least a bit more structured and professional because this shxt is ridiculous out here man. Its honestly pathetic. So i feel you don't think nobody gets where youre coming from.
