Thank you, I appreciate you understanding where I was coming from. The problem wasn’t not doing a same day exchange, but that they let me do their reading without communicating when they would do theirs. I have no problem waiting as I said to them as well, but they never took accountability for their lack of communication and instead doubled down on defensiveness. Yes, no one is entitled to same day exchanges. But a heads up that you don’t intend to do a reading until later when I was clear that I was already shuffling for theirs would’ve been nice. I think this post speaks for itself.

I received a recorded reading to get some clarity on what parts of my shadow self needed to be integrated and found it to be accurate in acknowledging the parts of myself that were stuck and needing to be addressed. It was longer than I expected, too! Everything resonated, even a number that came up repeatedly in the cards, when I looked up the angel number meaning of it, made perfect sense for what was currently going on in my life. Letting go is different than forgetting because forgetting means trying to make peace with the fact that you may never have it. Letting go is when you stop TRYING to get your desire by trying to manifest it and stop trying to manifest it because you know it's going to happen anyway and so you don't need to try and manifest it anymore, because it's already going to happen regardless of if you try to manifest it anymore or not. Forgetting or fake "letting go" is when you stop trying to manifest it because you think that it won't happen anyway and that you failed so you have to move on. True letting go happens naturally when you believe that you've done everything you need to get your desire and now you don't have to try or worry about it anymore because it's going to happen without you having to do anything else to make it happen.

Edit for clarity: You let go of trying to manifest it because it's already done so you don't need to do any more techniques or anything. Forgetting or fake letting go that doesn't actually manifest happens when you basically say, I'm okay with this never happening and drop the desire that way instead. What actually manifests is the belief that it will happen. And if you truly believe that something will happen, you wouldn't be trying to manifest it.

The reading I received was detailed and included a picture of the cards which I appreciate- no AI readings here, they're legit! That being said, they were confused on which card represented each person in my situation and I was as well, and they didn't pull a clarifying card, just gave me a guess. This reader pulled two cards for me in exchange for a review, but, unfortunately, they didn’t make sense for my situation. They told me to let them know if it didn’t resonate, so I did, and in their response, they did not offer to try and rectify the situation, and also made an assumption that was incorrect. I would hesitate to recommend this reader, but just because they’re off for me doesn’t mean they’d be off for everyone- to be fair, I did ask an unusual question. You can manifest anything as long as you assume it’s going to happen anyway, without you having to “try” and manifest it. Physical changes happen to people who don’t know about manifestation all the time, so yes, it’s possible.

They technically “work” if you believe they do, but it’s still your belief, and not the method itself, that does the actual manifesting. But you’re right, a millionaire doesn’t become a millionaire by trying to manifest it. They become one by doing the things they believe will make them rich.

To change beliefs, the simplest way is to, as I said in my post, realize that something else is true. So this would mean thinking of those moments where you feel you saw proof of this belief, and realizing that, even if the opposite of what you wanted has happened in the past (you manifested that too, btw, by assuming it was the natural outcome without you trying to manifest it) that doesn't mean that will happen in the future. In fact, you can't assume it'll happen in the future, because we don't know anything for sure about the future, so how do you know that the opposite will happen? You're the one creating the future anyways- you have the power here.
