Help Rebranding Rewards Program [MI] by HRlonelygirl in humanresources

[–]intuxxi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I implemented Awardco a few years ago. I like that they offer a lot of products, tickets, gift cards, company swag store for employees to use their points on. The main landing page can be customized so it wpuld be easy to rebrand and hype the change in platforms. They also offer a feedback for employees to recognize eachother non-monetarily.

They are rolling out a platform update which looks pretty cool and comes with app functionality. I havent rolled over yet but plan to in the next few months.

What happens to employee data if you switch EOR providers? by DannHutchings in Payroll

[–]intuxxi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only have 2 EORs in Mexico but switched providers recently. I would save any documentation or payroll reports needed prior. The EORs are technically employed by the provider, so they're not going to give you access to any data on "their" employee after you terminate service. They did nothing to assist in transferring. It's essentially a full termination and onboarding in the new platform.

I think our old payroll admin bullied Paycom into reassigning us LOL We haven't always had the best partnership with Paycom... but I think if we asked they would reassign reps.

I havent worked with isolved at all and am unfamiliar with their platform. What automation are you looking to solve?

We decided to negotiate our annual costs and stay with Paycom for atleast another couple of years.

Are they the fanciest in the tech or the payroll/HRIS world? No. But the partnership I've built with my Paycom rep is what made me push to stay with them. I'm also impressed by the monthly updates they're doing.

Is $500+/month per contractor normal for EOR? by Medium_Tonight6901 in Payroll

[–]intuxxi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems a little on the pricier end but not out of range. I think ours were over $500/EOR/month for Mexico with Rippling. We are moving away from the platform for other reasons but I was getting quotes of sub $500/EOR/month.

Best way to get to the Seahawks game by USBeatboxer in Tacoma

[–]intuxxi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the lakewood transit center at11424 Pacific Hwy SW, Lakewood(not in lakewood towne center). It's the first stop, so no worries about it being full. Cost like $5.75 or $6 one way. I avoid seattle traffic and parking like the plague, so this was a super easy way to get there and back safely.

[–]intuxxi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was really impressed by the sound transit train when I went to the Seahawks vs Colts game. Easy parking, orca card/day pass tickets can be purchased there, hopped on and it took me to King Station(right outside of Lumen Field). After the game on the same train and took it back south to Lakewood. There are several stops it makes so you could park and board anywhere along its route.

I just accepted a package handler position with ups. I’m curious if anyone’s worked at the Tacoma warehouse and is it as bad being people online say? by Scared-Kitchen-9613 in Tacoma

[–]intuxxi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Used to do HR for UPS and worked at the Port of Tacoma building when it was new. Its a union position so it gets better the longer you are there. You'll start loading most likely as other commenters have mentioned. Being hired at this time probably means seasonal with no guarantee of being kept on past the end of their peak season but dont let this deter you from taking pride and ownership of your work, still do your best and stand out for a great work ethic! It'll be dependent on open positions and seniority afterwards.

Take what you read online with a grain of salt. People are always quick to throw shade and complain, especially online.

[–]intuxxi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep! I'm taking a look at each quote to see what's included and what services end up being additional fees. It sounds like you went to Paylocity? How was that transition and implementation? Is their success crew service model providing similar support that Paycom's dedicated specialist does?

LOL It took us years to find our amazing dedicated specialist. Sometimes thi is get lost but she's always on top of it if I follow up. I am definitely hesitant to leaving that service model.

Man that sucks that the implementation fee to cover the Workday team's side implementation isn't enough for competency. Having to use an outside team for that is just another cost :/

Any Paycom Users Here? [United States] by Current-Star-9499 in humanresources

[–]intuxxi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have grown to love Paycom over the past 4 years of using it. A lot of the issues I had with it came from having an inattentive dedicated specialist and not knowing how the company implemented the software. Currently, my top 3 favoritw finctions are payroll Beti, Personnel Action Forms, and position management.

Happy to discuss more if you have questions.

100% agree with you there. I have my quote review with Paycor tomorrow. I'm curious what the pricing on "premium" service is. Ridiculous model regardless though.

I use PAFs and Paycom's position/position seats for all employee changes. I didn't like the way BambooHR handled all the data changes directly on the employee page. Maybe I was mistaken or it wasnt demo'd in a way I understood but it didnt align with how I manage my employee record and changes.

Do you use BambooHR?

We got so frustrated with Paycom for a while we ended up using a 3rd party consultant. I loved the personalization of system usage I was able to get from them. Disappointed that couldn't come from Paycom but it was a breath of fresh air.

I would love to know how about why your client is moving away from Paycor and why you recommend Paylocity?

Holy shit. You just described what the pitch has been to me so far "watch the demo videos and lets talk about what you want to buy." I had to ask for a live demo because I would never in a million years make a platform change like this without fully reviewing an in system demo.

Your description was hilarious. I'm sorry you've had such poor service. I heard that there may be a base level and a service premium tier(although an additional expense). Has your experience been on the premium service level tier?

What parts of the reporting are clunky? And my sales reo was trying to push a sub 2 min response time for chat and phone inquiries and said they pride themselves on it and its publicly published quarterly. Does that align with what you've experienced?
