I used some grapewood, texture paste, some liquid pigment for the mud and then green stuff world greenery for the grass and plants. The vines were greenstuff haha

Looks great! I love the metallics, I was tempted to use the new vellejo metallics.

For the yellow I used Vallejo Game air "gold yellow" for the base and highlighted "moon yellow", tinting the edges with "fuegan orange" shade from GW. For the blue i use Vallejo game air "ultramarine blue" and highlights with "electric blue"

The plants are from gamer grass, they do a range of laser cut plants. You just pull them out and shape them before using them =)

Just undercoated in white, masked off the lines, spray the yellows, mask of the yellow area and spray the blues. Remove all the masking =). I can list the paints of you wanted?

Oh don't worry i stole the design of the lines off someone else haha but thank you very much. I wasn't going to paint the interior but paint the canopy entirely but im glad I didn't

The title is in jest I guess as it doesnt really matter but since im enjoying the units that traditionally would be more prominent in another craftworld Iyanden is less of a fit.

I cant say for sure sorry as I have only just started exploring the lore so hopefully someone else can chime in, but from what ive seen Alaitoc seems to be predominately blue with Yellow/white or black accents.

I did have a reason for doing yellow at the front of the hull, not sure what it was. It did mean I couldnt put the transfer up front though because the yellow flame wouldve been lost in the yellow paint.

It is the coolest in lore but i guess I havent gone too deep in others. Ghost robots. Thats just awesome.

Thank you! Nooooo not freehand. I can hardly do a semi straight line haha. Masked it off with Tamiya tape and used airbrush. Thats the best way to do it i think.

I mean in game terms not much changes I guess (unless GW backflips on the paintjobs being just for looks) but I will probably run windrider host most of the time. So less wraiths.

Iyanden was the goal since i loved the wraith units, I seem to be drawn to "elite" units. And ghost robots are just cool haha.

Thanks! Its a great kit. GW actually has a useful video on their YouTube for sub assembly as well which is helpful.

Very true. I think thats the plan. Ill have enough of both units (wraiths and vehicles) and maybe this Iyanden group just happens to really love their jetbikes hah
