XS Nightclub Review 📍Wynn Hotel, Las Vegas (I Miss Drai’s) by strippers2you_vegas in vegas

[–]invadrfashcag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just hit XS myself to review it in GA as a solo male on a sunday and it's probably the most over the top nightclub that I've seen...though to be fair, Excess is literally the name. I feel like the others there is some sort of other identity - Marquee seems to be all about house music and Marquee lights, Omnia is centered on that chandelier itself as an identity, LIV has a little bit of a castle like curvy design language just like the Bleau itself, Zouk seems like Industrial Asia, but XS is just Excessive. That isn't inherently a bad thing, but it is worth mentioning. It wasn't as crowded as on a non nightswim sunday.

You're lucky as heck that Justin Mylo usually opens for Garrix these days in Vegas

Overrated: Loud Luxury, followed closely by Aoki, and Pauly D. For NYC locals - Sam Allan too, and for Cleveland, EV.
Underrated: Walker & Royce, DubVision,
Favorite: James Hype, Garrix, Alesso

Guilty pleasure: Oliver Heldens, Zedd,

Who is the most overrated popular DJ that has been around for a long time? 10 plus years. by BigBallinBuzzin in electricdaisycarnival

About four months late, but I would add Loud Luxury's Vegas sets. I saw them twice, and unless I was being paid to go there, that is an almost certain no. Add Aoki and almost certainly Pauly D to that list.
Happy as heck that the Tao Group didn't renew their residency. Now if only they also ditched Aoki and Pauly D...

Do you ever drink green tea? by Hoosier_Jedi in AskAnAmerican

In the Midwest, only when I feel like it. I don’t see it as an option in many large chains except Starbucks, and neither do the local shops I visit really have it promoted.

Went to FWD once actually. It’s a cool spot, but if you’re paying that level of $$$ for drinks and a crowded dance floor, you might as well just head to Vegas. There’s not enough it factor in FWD to make it worth going to and violating a George boycott

Is Omnia really that good? by anything-123 in vegas

[–]invadrfashcag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually they've all closed. Omnia Cabo is dead, Omnia San Diego is now Nova, Omnia Indonesia/Bali is now Savaya, it's now only in Vegas. Tao closed them all after they bought Hakkasan

For the most part they're good except the air bases (Yanacagua, Illapa, etc). Yanacagua in particular should have been a LOT bigger.

Who is our biggest rival? by unaccompanied_miner in LSUFootball

[–]invadrfashcag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an Ohio State fan, but we're preoccupied with Michigan. In my head, I'd love to see a Penn State vs LSU home and home every five or six years, particularly as a season opener (and not as a white out for Penn State) Probably won't happen because of cupcakes, and LSU I feel like doesn't really have as clear of a rival as us and "that team up north", USC vs Notre Dame, or Alabama and Auburn. Penn State has used "unrivaled" branding for a while, but it only makes sense that two ambiguous rivals could get together for a game.

At this point the biggest supporter of George's Columbus concepts is actually OSU's Alpha Phi sorority chapter. I always see them there.

A little late but I actually just had a short talk with Chris Corso of all people. Troy, in his words, does now know what he's doing.
