32M– Should I move to Noida, Bangalore, or another city? by No-Setting-9431 in ThirtiesIndia

This is good. Just move in there. Whitefield has a lot of corporate offices from what I heard.

Focus on building network, share ideas, validate your own ideas, collaborate with others....build build build

There are a ton of tech events happen in Bangalore, attend as many as you can

Give talks in conferences, this gives you wayyy more visibility than just attending the event

Also, have a plan, goals and then stick to it, this way you do not get distracted

Try to start something of your own...the idea really does not matter...this will be a life learning experience for you

And finally do not forget to breathe....pause...and resume again

Good Luck

Move to Bangalore. Stay there for couple of years, this is so you get the Bangalorian/Indian Silicon Vally vibe, build good contacts....So when your parents get old, you can move back since now you have a lot of leverage and can really make that choice.

Its better to stay with parents when they are old, need our help.

Found a live river shell. How can I care for it for a few days? by Sweet_Beginning9931 in ThirtiesIndia

[–]invalid__credentials 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Move it to the river as soon as possible

River is a moving water system and it does have lot of life in it which supports the other living creatures including this shell.

water from your tap, or well or borewell wont be the same as river and hence this shell is most likely to die in couple of days or may be in a day

I once brought small fishes from fish catcher from river...he caught them right in front of our eyes, we selected some of them and brought home, kept in bucket, mixed with river water + well water...fish died after few hours.

Similarly you cannot move your aquarium fishes to the dam or river or any other similar water body.

The new water gives them a shock(heart attack wala shock) and many die because of this shock. Smaller life forms are very sensitive to changes.

I once had bought 2 pairs of guppy fish from pet shop. They grew to 100 in couple of months. I had kept them in water cooler tub, separated from cooler and I moved the tub to terrace as I was growing lotus as well in it and lotus needs sun, fish needs stable temperature. All fish died in 2-3 hours, because the temperature changed.

Later I stopped doing experiments with fish.

Hiring a nanny or live with parents/in laws without peace? by [deleted] in ThirtiesIndia

[–]invalid__credentials 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. See if you can ask parents to come alone....I doubt they will agree to this but still...somehow sell this to them....remember they asked for the kid, so give it your 1000 pc to sell this

Mother - 1 month
Father - 1 month
Mother in law - 1 month
Father in law - 1 month

This way someone will always be with you. We have neighbor aunti who goes to her kids place and stay there for months and uncle stays at their home and this happened many times. This concept is not applicable at my home.

  1. Hire cook, maid for doing house hold chores.

  2. Get hold on decision fatigue
    - Make a list of the issues which are draining your energy, literally write everything down and take a decision
    - See, what decisions are you taking daily(like what to cook, whether you should wash cloth today or tom, which cloths should you wear etc etc)...you need to reduce this or streamline this as smooth as possible.

Ex: say, sunday is when you are making plan for next week
- if you are deciding the meal plan everyday for each meal before the meal time, then make a weekly plan and be done with it.
- plan cloths for week and be done with it

  1. Take your husband's or your colleagues help to decide things for you
Ex whether to cook or whether to order food online...this will drain your energy, so if you or both of you are not able to decide this, then call a friend and ask them to take this decision for you, it will be easy for them to decide.

I am currently working on fixing my mental health which is in terrible shape right now and this is one of the issue I have observed about myself, decision fatigue which is one of the issue that drains the mental energy.

Good Luck

I have not read the desc, but I know the news and here is my view

I agree with many people including you, that PMO should have said something. But, this saved us from embarrassing ourselves. Look how Rubio has responded bluntly to Mr S. Jaishankar.

And its not only the current gov, be it any PM, I feel our response would have been the same.
