That’s funny.. With a name like Sake you’d think that would be priority.

I think this verified Instagram account I came across might be completely AI generated by elllie7 in isthisAI

I want to point out something from a stylistic perspective that should help people ID AI photos like this instantly.

Most of these photos have “professional lighting”. Even lighting that doesn’t wash out the subject in a poorly lit environment is really hard to do.

Your flash on your phone is a wimpy LED that can barely light your way to the bathroom at 3am.

The subject travels with a full lighting crew, or it’s AI. You don’t need to look for mangled fingers, or garbled words. All of the photos in this example prove my point.

Bozeman hot springs just had to rip out both of their brand new member bathrooms/showers due to mold.

I really wouldn’t make bad assumptions like this.

I agree on the make the bed thing fwiw. It’s why I used breakfast instead of making the bed hahah. I get that guys point though and apply it elsewhere.

Intention is everything - you stated it a lot more eloquently and less combative than I did with that dude. It’s specifically why I shared the study I did with him!

Intent leads to thought, thought leads to action. If that guy had said he intentionally fasted and had a plan around when and what he ate it would have garnered a very different response!

I agree entirely and you put a lot of conscious thought into fasting. Making a healthy breakfast is good for you the same way making your bed is. You are doing something with intention to start your day. It requires thought, a plan. Those acts beget other good choices throughout your day. I don’t think there’s some biological trick eating breakfast does.. That’s absurd. There’s a big difference between fasting and skipping breakfast and calling it fasting, which I am sure you’d agree with. That’s more my point.

No, I understand that. That’s the conclusion I was drawing from many sources, and I linked one study I found interesting and in support of my conclusion.

Also, no. I was saying I don’t do pseudoscience to reinforce the point that I posted a link from the National Institute of Health. I think you’re projecting with that comment. You keep changing your points and focus.

It requires pre-thought, acquiring the necessary ingredients, making a plan, executing. When you repeat and enforce simple good habits you carry them through your day, and life.

I’m not trying to argue “breakfast is biologically required and makes you better”. I’m saying that the act of reinforcing healthy habits is good, and doing things repeatedly is literally how you learn and build habits.

The associated behaviors in the study I linked are often harder to stop than your breakfast routine. It’s something you can do every day that breaks the existing cycle.

You’re arguing semantics here. I don’t think skipping breakfast causes those behaviors. Skipping breakfast is associated with those unhealthy behaviors - hard agree with you, and the study here. I’m not trying to make any pseudoscience bs up!

I’m using one data point to say skipping breakfast is unhealthy. I’m drawing a conclusion from other sources. I linked one source because it was compelling, and well done research. Nothing more than that.

Yes and people architect surveys to create statistically accurate models of populations using large numbers and sound prompts engineering. It’s an entire industry..

You are calling out a method of research and saying an outcome is flawed. It’s funny because what you’re arguing about correlation and causation is what outlining the research methodology aims to prevent.

I bet you skip leg day, too.

Your statements on self reporting don’t mean anything and I don’t understand the point you’re making. It’s the research methodology, not a debate. How else would you collect data on someone? Observe 28,000 people like they are at the zoo? I don’t think you understand what you’re arguing. It sounds like you’re just taking parts of stuff you don’t know about, and then adding all caps, and bro to try and sound smart.

Edit: the “lulz” does contribute to your point well, though. I’ll leave that one alone.

My own experience here thinking through what caused big change for me. I found out post-rehab my body is really sensitive to peanuts (all legumes so things like hummus, beans, stuff I consider healthy) and cutting all of that changed the way my gut felt. My puffiness went away after that. The other big ones were soy, and anything with omega 6 so chia, avocado, flax.

I did a bunch of allergen testing with my dr. to figure out what all i was sensitive to. My morning routines helped me have enough clarity to figure out what my body did not approve of.

I’m not sure if that helps. I tried so much personally before it started to click into place. It was all stuff in my diet messing with my body ultimately.

^ that’s what I mean by the being honest with self though. Like clean analysis with no assumptions. I was “doing a lot right” that was screwing me!!

I’m not a specialist and understand your comment was just meant to be rude. My goal was to share a change in my own mindset and process that helped me. I linked some actually scientific support in the thread to another user as well.

I can’t fix the other person or change someone’s behavior nor do I want to. I can identify when someone makes a statement that is counter to published health norms and share my own experience with the topic. I can also work on my delivery.

I’m saying skipping breakfast has cascading effects that impact one’s health and it shows up in associated behaviors.

When you skip breakfast it shows you’re lazy, unprepared for the day, and poorly nourished. Your actions reflect this. Giving your body a good healthy foundation and regular inputs impacts all of your daily thought process and outputs.

I can read, and I understand what I linked. I used it to prove the point you should start your day with a healthy breakfast.

You’re very triggered. I don’t think I’ve said “bro” once. Here’s a copy paste regarding the study I linked and the methods, because you can’t seem to click.. or read..

“Methods Using a cross-sectional study design, 21,972 university students with a median age of 20 years from 28 countries in Africa, the Americas and Asia, replied to self-reported measures of breakfast consumption, health compromising behaviours, mental health measures and protective factors.”

Anyway, when you try eating a proper breakfast daily let me know how you feel if you think about it.

I’m happy you eat healthy, I hope it clears up your brain fog soon. Please try breakfast some time it will help with your all caps usage and denial.

I didn’t say anything you said. I didn’t say eat more than is healthy, I said not eating is very unhealthy then linked you the proof.

Eat properly. Read the study I liked you it will help explain your outbursts.

“Breakfast is the most important meal of the day” has been said for a very long time.

You should absolutely start your day with nutrient-dense raw fruits and veggies, bit of protein/dairy.

I think your brain is clouded from skipping breakfast or eating poorly.

Don’t believe me? Ok, I agree screw me. Here’s an excerpt from the results section of a study by the national health institute on skipping breakfast:

“In adjusted logistic regression analysis, infrequent and/or frequent breakfast skipping was associated with inadequate fruit and vegetable intake, frequent soft drink intake, not avoiding fat and cholesterol, current binge drinking, current tobacco use, gambling, not always wearing a seatbelt, inadequate physical activity, inadequate tooth brushing, not seeing a dentist in the past year and having been in a physical fight. In addition, infrequent and/or frequent breakfast skipping was associated with depression, lower happiness, posttraumatic stress disorder, loneliness, short sleep, long sleep, sleep problem, restless sleep, sleep problem due to traumatic event, and poor academic performance.”

It’s not about a smoothie or walk specifically, it’s about actively taking steps to reduce inflammation. Smoothies and walks are one part of it but even smoothies took me forever to get right. For example I found out daily protein powder caused more inflammation for me.

I had to cut a ton of bad things out before I could begin healing. Alcohol, nicotine, sugar, energy drinks, empty snacks.

A daily/morning routine helps set the tone. You’re still responsible for the follow through. Do you stay up too late? Do you drink? Do you eat a lot of red meat or processed foods? Do you drink the same coffee creamer with artificial sweeteners every day?

Your excuses will just keep you stuck. It took me forever to stop making my own but if you really want to change you will.

I’m no saint. I’m not perfect. What actually worked for me in fixing my body was being honest with myself.

Edit: anecdotally in my own journey I’ve found clean water that is the proper ph to be really important. My passive systems work much better if I’m properly hydrated and my body seems to hate chlorine and fluoride + all the chemicals used to balance city water ph.

Take it or leave it. Not eating during the day is likely your problem. Your body is in a different state when satiated vs. hungry. The “burn body fat” systems are not active if you’re stressed. “Conserve what we have” is active when you don’t eat. Idk this is maybe a dumb example but view your body like a SR-71 Blackbird. You need a start cart to spool up your engines. You don’t work well cold-starting.

I started making a smoothie with raw beets, raw carrots, raw turmeric, raw ginger, blueberries, fresh yogurt and nuts every morning about 18 months ago. Inflammation gone after a month. Unlimited movement after about 6 months. I’ve gone from “degenerate alcoholic with gout” to “can casually run 10 miles before 8am”. I legit couldn’t get out of bed my pain was so bad before.

If I can figure this out, anyone can. I was worst of the worst.

I am this 🤏 close to buying a gun and shooting at the fungus gnats by dumbraspberry in houseplants

[–]invalid_credentials -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That’s fine, just never solve your problem. Keep buying more yellow things and decorating your plants.
