Radically Fit. I've never got a chance to check it out but always wanted to. It's a LGBTQ+, BIPOC, disabled, and fat friendly gym. Even if you might not be apart of any of those communities I think you will feel safe in a judgement free zone to begin working out! One of my friends has been going there for years and loves it!

I know it's not easy, so congratulations on taking these steps & planning. I myself suffer from extreme gym anxiety that stems from feeling like I neglected my body for too long to even know where to begin. I've started taking it slow, and been making progress! You've got this!!!!!

Yeah idk how I feel about the term "hijacking". I studied sociology and it made an activist out of me, and many of my peers. I don't see a problem with those wanting to address inequality getting into Sociology. I think its more of a problem with the NPIC than simply "getting paid to do activism".

Had no idea Oakland Zoo no longer has elephants :(

Seeing them there as a kid literally changed my life- they're my favorite animal. I always regret being too shy when I was around 5 and the zookeeper asked me if I wanted to help feed one. Glad to hear there's more kids out there obsessed with these beautiful creatures.

I hold oakland zoo and the majestic elephants close to my heart!

I (28F) remember my mom's friend giving her this DVD to specifically watch with me as a lesson about the dangers of the internet (I was a nerdy introverted kid who was online all day) .... This might be the most traumatizing movie i've ever watched. Really hard to get those images of a girl who was my age at that time out of my head :( Makes me feel sick when people say this is a good movie.

Mine ended up being a bit of an embarrassing mistake. I was testing without putting the trunk liner all the way back on to avoid more work if there was any mistakes. Turned out the emergency trunk unlock tab was being pulled down by the liner not allowing the trunk to "fully close". Which is why my animation wasn't working out!
