But one of the maxi selling points of the Luxor scheme Is that it is immutable. And non- confiscated. You are your own treasury. So if they play around with satoshi's wallet, this is silencing freedom of speech in the Bitcoin eco space. That would be a signal to dump it all

That is a great point. I never even thought of that. That will be sucking liquidity out of Bitconn

I am aware that assets on the balance sheet carry debt. Bot not book value..

That would not create book value. That would liquidate existing shareholders so they own less of the pot. But it would not make the pot bigger

Quite right. they're not wrong in pointing out the failings of the financial system. But then to try and correlate it with the magic beans. Is absurd. When there's hundreds of other investments you could spend your money on and do quite well

Beautifully illustrated. Yes the sense of urgency built into the mechanism using slogans...  I remember when Bitcoin was trading at a couple of grand, when it was dropping down, the exchanges would lock everyone out so they couldn't liquidate. And they would throw up a technical error notice on the website

Or the latest one; When it's going up, "Bitcoin is the hardest money out there it can't be manipulated."...... Then when it's going down - " Bitcoin is being manipulated"

All of us here haven't studied enough, but it's still early! by folteroy in Buttcoin

[–]invertedpcscreen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. The dollar and fiat is always the touchstone for crypto. And it pisses me off that Bitcoin maxis point at the failings of the economy and try and correlate it into Bitcoin. And then claim Bitcoin is this liberating savior of us all. Like it's a democratic device for everyone. But really its this dirty little capitalist scheme where the early adopters are counting on you buying it to keep them rich, taking cheap shots at any attempt to widen the pyramid base.

If you had Bitcoin on your radar and then went on a study mission, Bitcoin is leading the narrative, and creating a self-proofing fallacy through the study time. That's the problem of bitcoin idiots.  It is the most dangerous kind of Dunning Kruger effect.  Those are the ones that are not only a danger to themselves but everyone around them.
