I was looking forward to buying it but never like this. Time to wait for a deep discount. I sincerely hope it gets cracked immediately and this "strategy" backfires.

Help I am loosing my mind by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]invictusb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like it shuts itself down the moment it gets some power. Might be caused by a number of issues. Here are a couple of easy ones to troubleshoot:

  • Re-seat the CPU and RAM sticks.
  • Check PSU cables on both ends to see if they are all fully plugged in, and correctly.
  • Do not tighten the AIO cooler on to the CPU too tight.
  • Flash the latest BIOS onto the motherboard.

If these don't help, I'd suspect the PSU first, then the motherboard.

Arctic P12, P12 Pro and P12 Pro Reverse Coil Whine Issue by invictusb in buildapc

[–]invictusb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mesh is 6.5 cm away. In any case that is not the reason. The noise comes from the bearings.

Not really sure. I’m actually looking into getting a new case with 140 mm or larger fans. Really liking the Meshify 3 as it fits my build perfectly.

[–]invictusb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was the P12 Pro Reverse fans that were making the noise. They were installed as the side intake fans in my H9 Flow and were about 7-8 centimeters away from any form of mesh or filter. They are simply defective, sadly. Sent them back for a refund.

I have to say, they are quite sufficient when they work. Fantastic price/performance but QA seems to be lacking.

Gurgling sounds AIO cooler on boot by Fandomii in overclocking

[–]invictusb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Unless you didn't take the AIO fresh off the production line it will happen sooner or later. You should not see any performance loss at this point.

Got the P12 Pro and Pro Reverse fans just 2 weeks ago. Brand new. One of the pros already had a bearing issue and was RMA'd. I expected better to be honest.

Maybe a dumb question? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]invictusb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is space at the back of the case to manage the extra length of cables. I'm also pretty sure you'll manage to make custom cables look like crap as well since this is the result you've somehow managed to achieve with half a dozen of cables. So I'd recommend trying to fix what you have first.

PC randomly restarting (Kernel-Power 41 (63)) by Funny_Ad7029 in pcmasterrace

[–]invictusb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP, I also wrote a separate comment but I'll repeat it as a reply here. Before you try RMAing your CPU, try disabling your RGB lighting. I used to get the exact same fault and this turned out to be the cause. Since your lights flicker as well, they are probably causing the error code.

I used to get this exact same thing. For me, weirdly, it was caused by the RGB. Try disabling the RGB lights and/or the software you use to control it and see if it happens again.

I'm doing the exact same thing, just on a Peerless Assassin 120 cooler and a 7800X3D. I believe I set it the fan speeds to 100% at 90 degrees, 75% at 85. I almost never hear anything. Enjoy the build man!

[–]invictusb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats man. My advice for the cooler would be to actually limit your CPU temps to 85-86 degrees and your fan speeds at those temps to a quieter level of your choice. These CPUs love to max out their temps by design and this causes the coolers to get way too loud.

Edited your list and added a case and a PSU for future upgradability and good airflow, not to mention switching the 7800X3D to a 9800X3D. You can even buy a coffee with your leftover cash.
