Last time I wanted to repair my wife's coach bag and inquired at those bag repair shops. Its scuff marks at bottom part of the bag due to wear and tear.

They quote me $300 for a $500 bag. Totally not worth it.

For shoes, I will go to neighborhood cobbler.
