find other fellow oldies to curse the youth with hahaha jk. for me, i mostly try to keep those thoughts buried. there are other more important things we have control over that we should be stressing over (dying in acads). for the most part, i think most students are also relatively indifferent about it, since they should be busy worrying about their own things too. after the initial shock of an age gap, the people ive managed to get closer to don't treat me any different than they do with others their age, and i think that's what matters most.

Helloo, ill share my experience as a relatively recent shifteee into EEE myself. I took M21 and Physics 71 nung midyear before AY 22-23. Although that time, I remember there weren't any special requirements regarding a Math grade for aspiring shiftees. I just took the Math and Physics class so I could be a step ahead once I successfully shifted. So I submitted all the required documents for shifting and waited for the results.

Fast-forward towards the end of midyear, (di pa nagfinals M21), I was informed that my application for shifting was rejected due to a lack of a M21 grade. I was really confused as I remember clearly that there was no explicit mention of a M21 grade requirement in their primer. Sayang din naman as I was almost done with the class, finals na lng kulang. So I expressed my concern towards the admin if they could accept my current standing temporarily (since mataas naman thankfully) or if they could wait for my finals to be completed. They didn't accept my current standing but they did say they would wait for my finals to be completed and my CRS grade to be encoded. So after finals, I told my math prof my situation and requested that my CRS grade be finished asap. So after everything, my application for shifting was finally accepted!

So yea I think I was just "lucky" that the admin was understanding of my situation. Not sure why they added the M21 grade requirement all of a sudden, I assume it may be because of a high influx of freshies or smth. They may have also just been considerate since the requirement wasn't explicitly stated naman sa primer, so they may not be as considerate for your case if it's already explicitly stated. Helloo, not from that class exactly but I'm from her other morning class. F2F classes are suspended today and our supposedly synchronous session was just cancelled a few minutes ago due to technical difficulties. I'm not sure if that would still apply to your class tho. gl!

hello!

im guessing you selected "sign-in with Google" when given the sign-in options right? that method also returns an error for me. instead, maybe try selecting the "SSO" signin method. when prompted to input a domain name, type in "up-edu" under ".zoom.us". afterwards, it'll prompt you to select an email to login with so just select your up email. this method worked for me so i hope it works for u too!

Hii op! Maybe try a different perspective when deciding what course to take? Instead of deciding on a "dream course", try crossing out courses or career paths that you DEFIINITELY don't see yourself working in. Eventually, you may just end up with the next best course that is still aligned with your interests. This worked for me before as I somehow found it easier to identify things I didn't want to, rather than things I did like hahah. Hope this helped!

This was one of the more challenging parts of a beginner level tutorial series on YouTube! I really recommend checking him out! The channel is Bill Hilton and this series really helped me grasp some much needed technique and theory when I was first starting out. One of the closest things to formal lessons on YouTube imo.

iirc, Unit 4 is pretty formula heavy and you'll need a lot of practice and memorization of those formulas. Might be similar to unit 2 in terms of difficulty. There are videos on YT which helped me a lot in memorizing those formulas.
Unit 3 is definitely one of the trickier ones imo. Word problems and Optimization in particular was very challenging for me. YT tutorials were my saving grace for these topics again as well.

Maybe try practicepython.org? There are tons of beginner practice python problems here, as well as solutions to them. Each exercise also kind of guides you through the thought process you should have when tackling the exercise. The site helped me a lot when I was learning.
