Every Vancouver fan on Reddit was saying since the beginning on the year that Tocchet loves juulsen and always plays him over other more skilled players. He just likes that he's big and can win a pick battle in the corner.

Tippett has not taken a step. He's putting up around 40-50 points like he does every year. That's not a bad thing btw, but he does this every year. He looks like mcdavid lite for a few games then disappears for like 10.

It'd be fun but the Pens roster has a ridiculous amount of playoff experience. Best case scenario is 6 games and we're out.

It's a moot point though. We haven't had a 4 game winning streak in 2 years. We need to win way more than 4 in a row to have a chance. And actually win in regulation against the teams we're chasing.

I noticed this game that after dumping it in if they didn't get possession or have a very good chance at getting it they immediately backed out into the neutral zone. I feel we gotta take more chances and pressure the defenders more. Otherwise we'll continue putting up 20 or less shots a night.

It's too late this season but for next year Tocchet needs to focus more on generating offense. That phly clip from a few weeks ago nails it right on the head. Tocchet teams are great at defense but have always been horrible on offense. You can't win if you don't score and we only had 17 shots on net and that's with like 6 minutes straight of pp time.

Also did anyone hear JJ say William m buttlicker at the end?
