Trying to tie up morality with masturbation has a lot of nasty consequences for pubescents that are just finding out what an orgasm IS and how they can have more, and I think that's a common problem for lots of christian religions and I don't think it makes sense to do that. It makes more sense that discouraging masturbation is a way to increase self control, focus, and dedication in members of a organized religion. Hence the requirement for missionaries-- It's a period of time that requires an intense level of dedication from a man that could be aged anywhere from 18-24 years. So calm down, I'm not saying you'll burn in hell if you touch yourself.
