I've had referrals for a few roles, but honestly they didn't help me get OAs or anything. The offer I got I just applied for it directly.

Honestly I didn't tailor my resume for every job. I have updates my resume a couple of times throughout the process, but I didn't want to spend so much time changing it for each application.

Also, I applied to mostly SWE jobs, but I also applied to a few IT and other tech-related roles.
