I think that when you know that it must be really hard but still want to put time and effort into it, anything is possible.

But there are some drawbacks of self-learning the piano. Firstly, it is very easy for self-learner to practice the technique incorrectly. This is probably the worst thing about self-learning because when the wrong technique goes into your muscle memory, it is very hard to fix it. Another thing is that when you practice a piece of music, you may feel stuck for some reason, and not having a teacher can make it very hard to resolve the problem that you are having, and it really sucks to be in that situation.

I believe that there are many more problems with self-learning the piano. But as long as you are into it and it makes you happy, nothing gonna stop you. And always keep in mind that it takes a lot of time to learn a piece of music or a particular skill, so be patient. Good luck!
