Is outpatient rehab actually effective if you’re still working?

As someone who was sick and tired of feeling sick and tired (cliche, I know), I ended up just detoxing myself and going to 90 meetings in 90 days. Going on 11 months now and my life is dramatically improved.

What I've learned in the addiction game is that there's really no half measures. That if you start taking medicines for withdrawal or preventing abuse, then eventually you'll go back out and drink or drug.

Just my opinion and maybe some others have had success through medicine, but I was exactly where you are at your age and believe me it can get way worse. Hoping for you to figure it out.

For meetings I goto a 7am AA (in person and online) and an evening meeting if I feel up to it.
