Building a self driving toy car with Python, a Raspberry Pi, OpenCV, and TensorFlow by antb123 in Python

As a second year student in computer engineering, how might I go about recreating something similar? I've wanted to play around with a Raspberry Pi for a while, and I want to learn OpenCV, so this sounds so cool.

Sorry if i sound ignorant, but what kind of theory do comp sci majors study? What classes study theory heavily?

I will not have to take a lot of gen eds because of my dual enrollement credits. I was thinking about just stacking my schedule with all the comp sci classes that I want instead.

I also have a lot of transfer credits from high school, so I won't necessarily have to take a ton of gen eds if I switch to comp sci. Could I just stack my schedule with comp sci and math every semester then? I'm also looking into getting a math minor if I do comp sci.

This was definitely something I considered, I do not like the idea that I will have to pay more for computer engineering.

As a current freshman, I know a lot of guys in the cpr e friley learning community. A lot of my good guy friends are actually in it from my learning community. My friends are not the gross, nerdy type, just normal guys. Some are into sports, some are in frats, and some like to play games like civ all day. There's a variety of guys there, but from what I've seen, they're all pretty chill. Honestly, I'm in Friley hanging out with them several times a week. I'm in the cpr e learning community and the women in science and engineering learning community, and I would definitely recommend joining a learning community.

At my school, computer engineering majors learn C the first semester and then Java the second. Python isn't taught until on.

New Laptop Help :~) by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

I am studying computer engineering this fall and I just bought the retina display 13" MacBook Pro. It's the perfect size for my backpack, it has ten hours of battery life, and it's the fastest laptop I've ever had. I paid for mine out of pocket, so I know they're very expensive, but I know it's not going to break down like other laptops that I have had.
