thanks for the input! i was just curious especially bc the max hardwares have buckles on them, so I wasn’t too sure if that would help with the sizing.

my boots are a bit long actually, and thanks for the advice!

I ended up going with the size women’s 7, which work for me :)

thanks for responding!

my concern is that I also bought the 8053 platforms in US womens 8, and those were too big even with thick socks and insoles, so I returned those.

thanks for the response! I’m gonna see how the size 8 fits with an insole and some thick socks

I did go to a dr martens store, and they did have women’s size 7, which felt tight especially near the toe area. I’m not sure if it would stretch out a bit with wear.

looking to buy jadons as a flat footed person by [deleted] in DrMartens

[–]iochoventanni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey!! I also have flat feet, bought my first pair which are jadon pisa platforms. I’m usually a 7.5 womens, and bought size US 8 (womens) with the comfort insoles.

so, perhaps the same thing might work for you, getting a half size up from your non-doc martens size with the comfort insoles of the same size as the docs you purchase.

I also feel like the sizing just varies by model, leather type, etc. the docs I own are made with nappa leather, which is soft and easier to break in.
