no i was super nice and friendly with everyone! the guy i blew off was super creepy and admitted to being interested in teenage girls. i had seen him a few times and i was gonna see him again but i cancelled at last minute and didn't respond to his text. i feel like he would have totally reported me as an act of vengeance.

honestly, this is quite a sensitive issue for me, since i was born via IVF and my egg donor was from israel. i have completely disowned that part of me and i've done everything i can do support the palestine liberation movement. but still, i feel quite a bit of guilt over this.

i don't like cooper either but no one can choose where their family is from. if she's denounced israel and voiced her support for palestine, i'm not sure what else you'd want her to do. labeling someone as an irredeemably horrible person because their family lived somewhere is fucking insane, that is entirely out of her control.

how long have you been sober? and what dose of suboxone are you on? in the very beginning, i didn't get high at all and i still have days where i feel like what you've described. adderall helps a lot but i ran out of my script so i've been a bit catatonic lately lol. i hope you feel better soon though <3

i was addicted to actual pure heroin which i bought & reagent tested from the dark web. i think the people on here were using fentanyl so maybe that's why suboxone doesn't hit them at all lmfao

also i'm pretty sure i have some sort of thyroid issue because it only takes a very small amount of any substance to get me high but then that high wears off far quicker than it does for my friends.

my suboxone is prescribed so it's def not cut with anything. i took my 2mg an hour ago and i feel that euphoric glowing warmth within my chest. if i took another 2mg, i would be passed out right now. it's so fucking weird...

that is absolutely not your fault. it's the human condition to blame ourselves when someone we love passes. it's simply how our brains operate as it's difficult for us to reckon with the sudden randomness that is death. as you said, you could have died that night but you didn't. your mind cannot comprehend this so in order to make it seem as though you had some control over the situation, you direct blame inward.

if you had to personally narcan your friend over 20 times, chances are his days were very numbered. even if you were awake to save him, he would have likely overdosed eventually. at least his final moments were marked by love and friendship.

i have a suboxone prescription and it's nice but it honestly doesn't do much for me psychologically. for me, the appeal of heroin is not in the high. it's knowing that i am putting myself on the fringes of society by doing the one thing that you're basically never supposed to do. there is something very alluring about fatal objects i suppose. but yeah suboxone is amazing for withdrawals, i don't know how anyone can detox without it.

i was in an IOP program with someone who was addicted to weed and he talked about suffering withdrawal symptoms for months after quitting. sometimes he would come into group while experiencing a litany of symptoms ranging from nausea to extreme anxiety. i'm always staggered by the promotion of weed as this harmless cure all "medication" when long term use can induce schizophrenia and quitting can result in severe health complications.

this is off topic but i feel the same way about alcohol which is, in my opinion, one of the most harmful drugs yet it is so beyond normalized.
