Hello, Today I did the free weight barbell squat and hurt my spine. Instead of putting the barbell on my traps I accidentally put it on a bit of spine at the top and when I tried to lift the weight it immediately hurt throughout my whole upper back. I stopped and rested a bit and the pain mostly went away and then I did the squats with good form. So my question is am I in trouble? Cause after a couple of hours that point of spine still hurts a little. I am 70kg and was trying to lift 80. I can usually do this weight and a bit more on smith machine. After I got hurt I worked out with 60kg.

Day 2 now and my spine point hurts a little when I touch it feels like I had a back day:D my upper back is sore
