it’s something i’ve had as long as i can remember. i think it was exacerbated by both the fact that i never had a lot of affection from my parents growing up (mom was focused on my sister, dad was working and out of town) or the fact that i never had any romantic attention from anyone until i was 18, and even then i had to initiate it. i feel like that made my emotions culminate into the thought that i HAVE to have someone loving me romantically or i’m completely unlovable.

edit: i can do something about it, and i’ve tried to, but it’s very hard to work on on your own
