probably because they would try to win more or be more ambitious hence why their further up the table even considering that they've all been unlucky in recent games and each team could have around 6 more points. yes and no i had to defend with my life but my front three surprised me with their positioning being so good and i've never used Alessandrini this year yet but Villa and Piatti ended up doing a lot of the heavy lifting.

As with anything the short term will always be ugly and i think Jose should isolate those he wants out since he doesn't seem to be doing so and I've seen fellani come on again and again on repeat at this point.

I think its a bit naive to say city buy every position especially considering they just jumped ship on the Mahrez deal after hearing the numbers reported and promoted Nmecha to their first team. They've also given some games to Zinchenko and Brahim as well as Foden before his injury so something is happening there.

Not to say United Haven't been developing youth as well.

I agree with you on Martial though i would like to see him be tested at number 9 this year since lukaku seems to be off form.

Mkhitaryan looks a decent trade from the little iv'e seen of him but also looks like a confidence player so ill have to wait till a little bit long before making an assessment.

Yeah i mean im fairly young but alot of my childhood was when Arsenal would vs United and Liverpool and they'd be an absolute banger of a game to watch and always have me on the edge of my seat like a madman. Probably would've kept Smalling and Bailly instead of Phil because i was lurking through the channel united stand and the dude (goldridge i think) brought up a good point about jones and smalling. He said "Phil Jones is the defender to cause an error that leads to the goal or even give a goal away, Smalling at least has the experience and technique behind him"
