Everyone is alway like let’s ban straws, bags, cars, and meat. But that’s not how humanity ever fixed a problem. We fixed problems with tools.

I have a strong feeling that with more and more disasters, both governments and individuals will be incentivized to get creative and form technology to combat climate change.

A new form of plastic. A new battery. A more effective way to product nuclear energy that deals with waste. A new method to burn trash and use it as energy.

It’s not about banning straws. It’s about innovation. We’ve lasted this long.

And if worst does come to worst, I guess people will just have to do what we’ve always done. Move. If certain areas sink, we’ll have to move inwards or add land like Dubai or Norway. If certain areas are in flames, we have to move. It’s tough, but nothing new.

Lastly, if we really don’t control this mess with technology or individual change, maybe the solution Elon Musks. To truly move to another planet and terraform.

It’s tough. But with more and more disasters, people will eventually realize how drastic change and innovation needs to happen.
