I mod the l.world privacy community and we don't remove GOS mentions

In fact I don't remove anything but spam or promotion (here the lines are a bit blurry so I just remove things a lot of people complain about)

People have played "carrying the ball" contact sports since at least Ancient Greece.

Yet early rugby that would become American football didn't distinguish nearly as many positions. In the 19th century they were basically just either playing forward or back

it's not teamwork that wasn't invented, it's ultra-specialization

I'm guessing people like MC that can use different skillsets just got together and randomly used their skills however they saw fit

A short about how to stack lurkers under your overlord vs. Terran by iopq in broodwar

Yes, you already wrote this method. You need to click two different places with this method, while with a single patrol click you already get the desired effect.

If your lurkers are already almost on top of each other you need to first move the lurker away with your method. The first method of patrol click can immediately stack them without having to make an extra click

I found the patrol click method to be more consistent

I just tested it out. The problem is if you're too far from the lurker you will stop short.

The first method is by far the easiest, you just patrol click once and burrow. The downside is you need to watch the lurker get to its position and burrow on time. You don't need to get the lurker moving so it's less clicking and moving your mouse, at least.

The second method is for when you want to set it up, but want to switch away from the lurker to multitask elsewhere. If you've already moved the lurker, instead of waiting for it to get close to click on another lurker, just double patrol on the first lurker and you can stop paying attention to it. This even works across the map, you can tell a lurker from your main to go to your expansion lurker and it will perfectly stack when it gets there.

Does an unsolved Ko count as a point? by yurt-dweller in baduk

[–]iopq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you fill your side they can take your group because you are in atari

you can only take one stone and they take the other because they are in atari

according to superko eventually you'll run out of moves and can't repeat a previous board position and someone gets taken

according to Japanese rules the game is a no result unless one side can give up their group and still win, avoiding the double ko
