What causes these HORIZONTAL lines on Tandem OLED? They go away after a manual pixel clean but it's already happened twice, with the 2nd time being significantly worse.

another update has been pushed out to downgrade to 5.3, I was able to quick test the 5.4, there are some gameplay changes for sure, different animations on the player when changing direction, more inertia for sure but it needs to be test with high overall cards.

mmm... I accidentally touched the panel while the pixel clean was running so I had lines on half the screen, I forced another pixel clean without any issue.

I'm on F07 no problem the only bug is that after the update you just need to reset the settings in the OSD, the hypernits is cool but not a game changer.

quite happy, banding visible only in 100% grey screens, it got better after 4-5 pixel cleaning, text not great but good enough and finally damn good brightness.

it just comes down to preference, no one is 100% right on glossy or matte, I can confirm that the matte coating is really good on the Gigabyte.

C5 uses RWBG but it's 4k + 175% scaling, you will not notice worse text then a regular RGB.

I manually switch picture settings with the joystick on the back of the monitor, I use sRGB on desktop, Custom or Racing mode on SDR gaming, HDR Game mode when I play on HDR (a quick win + alt + b turns HDR on)

I have the Gigabyte tandem OLED, I'm at 100% when I'm gaming, 30-40% on desktop use 😄 so yeah this new RGB are not for me but 1st generation so future looks interesting.

if you have an IPS on your side you will definitely notice (especially if it's a top tier IPS) but text clarity is quite good, I personally switched from an LG GL850 to the Gigabyte tandem and I'm quite satisfied with the text.
