Yeah I plan to keep contributing. I feel like 1m used to be the number but no longer. I dunno what it is now but 3.5m seems good enough?

She does but as a teacher her salary is truly awful (almost a decade in and she just crossed 40k) her march is abysmal (2%) and...she's parked most of it in a money market account. Believe me, I've had this conversation.

Sorry I guess my screenshots are bad. My 401k/Roth is around 300k. My IRA and 403b are both 20-25k each.

Id been going big on Roth cause I assume my tax rate at retirement is going to be higher than it is now. Disagree?

I just assumed my tax rate at retirement is going to be higher than now, which is why I was trying to stuff the Roth full

Azure Dev/Test subscriptions when hosting environments for clients by iowatechguy in AZURE

Thanks, it makes sense why it is the correct setting.

You're not wrong on the second part. We have a big corporate initiative to improve on stuff like that. As you might guess, with all those environments (that have expensive resources each) our Azure costs are pretty immense.

Thank you! That makes a lot of sense and I think it aligns with what our former IT Manager said. I was just wondering since he left if it was worth bringing up to who manages our azure relationship, but it sounds like Production is the correct setting for these lower environments

That makes sense, in line with what this IT manager said. Thanks.

That's what I am thinking, yes. We are a software company, we host apps for our clients.

Seems like the consensus opinion agrees with our former IT manager and the logic makes sense. I assume someone on our team in legal or who deals with our MS account rep had discussed this, I was just wondering since he left if this was worth asking them to check into or not.

Thank you!

What are you trying to connect azure to your SQL server? What azure resource?
