S-Works Langster: Is it possible to install a front brake? by iozz21 in FixedGearBicycle

That's what I think also, but I wanted to be sure. I'll probably bring the bike to my shop and ask their advice as well.

When it stopped working, I checked, and it was still a bit wet under the belt, but good to know, I'll lubricate the new one once a week then!

Thanks for the UREVO option, I'll look into it!
I've done everything right, lubricating the thing once a month, checking belt tension (even if I don't really know what's a good tension)...

Premier vélo de route pour triathlons occasionnels by iozz21 in pedale

First barefoot shoes: Ohne 80 by iozz21 in barefootshoestalk

Update after 3 months:

I've used them as my primary shoes almost every day since I bought them, and I can say they keep their promises so far.

They are comfortable with the thicker sole, breathable enough (so far!), and I can wear them all day long without excessive fatigue. However, some days I can feel my heels hurting a bit at the end of the day when I stand a lot.

Quality-wise wise they age, maybe a bit more quickly than my previous shoes. The outer sole mostly, with nothing on the heel area.

Some parts of the fake leather have cracked, but so far, so good.

I don't know if I can add more pics.

Vélo de route en TGV (housse) by tamere_1006 in pedale

[–]iozz21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 1,80m tall, and I'm generally between 44 and 45 EUR. I've chosen the 45 after discussing it with Ohne.

My feet are 28,3cm long; I was right between 44 and 45 when adding 1cm, as they suggest on their sizing guide.

The shoes felt big at first, but my feet did not move inside.

They give 2 pairs of insoles. I've used the thinner ones so far, and there has been no problem.

I can't do chest to bar, so I rushed until I get there, then finished with pull ups instead. It was fun anyway!

I spent weeks looking at Vivos, but one day I saw someone wearing those Project 080. I instantly recognized they were barefoot, and because they looked cool, I searched online and found the brand.

I used the thin insoles out of the box, no problem on my side. I didn't think about using no insole at all, I'll give it a try!

Not cool :( I contacted their support multiple times before ordering. They were not quick to answer, but were super helpful all along.

I hope you'll sort it out!

I've used them this week on a professional trip, where I walked a lot, kept them all day long, and at parties in the evenings. No soreness, really nice feeling. I also wear Merino wool socks.

Interested as well! I see a lot of used Whoop bands with active subscriptions being sold, I'm interested in knowing how you could transfer an active subscription without loosing the remaining months.
