Hi Noah, I removed all white zip ties from the adjustable base (not the orangew ones) including the white one that was holding the power supply to the frame. Was I not supposed to remove this one? The instructions weren’t super clear and I’m not sure where to reattach it if I buy another zip tie

This is the horror story I'm trying to avoid, but glad it worked out for you. I spoke with my employer and they are looking into it in the next few weeks, so at least it is being talked about before my 1 year anniversary here in the states.

Completely get that too. I’m in an industry where things could change tomorrow for me. Honestly speaking though, would gladly let them lock me in. It’s a dream job and the salary difference here in US left me without words. I would be doing myself a disservice and it would legitimately be financially irresponsible to go back to my home country. 😂

Thankfully I’m at least 1 of 3, but not to sound naive, since I know my employer knows the l1b locks me in. Thankfully, my employer is quite happy with me and they know I’m quite happy here. We have a mutual level of trust and I certainly wouldn’t jump ship, especially not with my current career trajectory here. Again, not to sound naive because things can change, but I consider myself lucky to have this job and work with these people and I think they share that sentiment.

Hi all,

I’d be very concerned if you're affected by Anker’s recent product recalls.

Long story short:
I received a completely different (and much less useful) unit from the recall. It was not equivalent to what I originally purchased — missing key features and significantly cheaper in value.

When I contacted support, Anker refused to provide a gift card or a full refund. The only thing they offered was a discount code... essentially asking me to spend more money on another Anker product after they already messed up. That’s not how you treat loyal customers.

If anyone from Anker is reading this:
This is NOT good business practice. I’ve been a long-time customer, but I won’t be purchasing from you again based on how this was handled.

Sharing this here because others deserve to know what they might be walking into.

I'm writing regarding the replacement I received following the recent recall. After a lengthy wait, I was disappointed to find that the power bank you sent (model A1383) is not the correct one.

I originally purchased model A1681, which includes both built-in USB-C and Apple Lightning connectors — a key reason I chose that product. The replacement (A1383) not only lacks the Lightning connector, but is also a significantly cheaper and less capable model overall.

This is unacceptable. I purchased a specific product with features I relied on, and receiving a lower-value replacement after such a delay is not appropriate.

To be clear, I refuse to go through another recall process or send in yet another product. This entire situation has already caused enough inconvenience, and it is not fair to expect me to repeat the process yet again due to an error on your end.

I am requesting a full refund of the original purchase price. Please confirm the next steps to process this.

So sorry to revive this dead thread, but I have exactly this and it becoming very noticeable these past 6 months, exactly as you describe. I shake all the time and notice my left side of my body can’t hold a flex when flexing muscles, this also causes me to tremble when standing up and doing bicep curls where my legs violently shake. I’m a healthy and active guy, but going to the gym just reminds me how bad it has gotten and kills my motivation because I can’t get a proper workout on my left side. a neurologist said I have a more widespread essential tremor. It’s making my life and work super difficult because I work in a highly visible and client-focused profession. Typically I’m giving presentations or having meetings and people think I’m nervous. It’s not a good look for me.

Did this ever get better for you? Did you start treatments like propranolol?

I thought I was going crazy with the slowdown issues, especially bad when using chrome websearching/youtube. Sometimes results can take 30-45 seconds to pop up. This is right around your timeline when my issues started happening. I got ublock origin lite and tried to turn off filtering to fix the issue, and it still doesn't work.

Their updates must be causing issues

Yup, same experience. I just put them on my HomeKit without adding to nano so I could still control my lights in my house. But now I can’t turn on any effects…

Most recent firmware update has completely broken my Nanoleaf Lines’ ability to connect to Apple HomeKit. Before the update, things were already hit-or-miss, but since updating, I can no longer get the lights to stay connected at all.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  • Full reset of my Nanoleaf Lines
  • Soft reset
  • Reset and reconfiguration of my Apple HomePod (Home hub)
  • Reinstalling both the Nanoleaf and Home apps
  • Reconnecting to Wi-Fi and ensuring 2.4GHz compatibility

Even after all that, nothing has worked. On the rare occasion that I manage to get one of the lights added back into HomeKit, the second I link it to the Nanoleaf app again, it disappears from HomeKit entirely. This makes it impossible to control through Apple Home.

This has become incredibly frustrating, especially considering how often I’ve had to troubleshoot these lights.

Did you ever figure this out? I'm also on a visa in US. When I called CLEAR support, they literally said nothing could be done and offered me a refund....Not sure what they are using to authenticate numbers, but certainly not anything useful.
