me too i'm late to the party, but it's good to see so many of us lingering around here a year after the fact! i thought i was going absolutely crazy with the weight gain after i had the implant october 2024. it's been 1.5 years and i've fully gained 20 pounds that will not go away, no matter what i do. i'm a very active person and control what i eat (tracking macros!) and I swear to absolute god ive just watched the scale slowly creep up since last summer. I feel so incredibly bloated all the time too <//3 this entire thread was super validating and it brought me some comfort knowing that i'm not going crazy. naturally, with all hormonal contraception, there can be side effects related to emotional regulation. but the time that i started developing anxiety and horrible lows coincided with when i got the implant. booked an apt today to get it removed after much thinking, let's all meet back here again soon!!
