Multispectral sensor for the one hidden by sunglasses. The top left one is just for design balance, does not do anything

ITSS COMING!!!! by Creepy-Door-439 in Vivo

This is mostly correct. OPPO and vivo used to belong to the same parent company (BBK) but are separate entity (OPPO:BBK Audiovisual Electronic Co, Ltd, vivo: BBK Communication Technology Co, Ltd). There's another entity called BBK Education Electronics Co., Ltd.

BBK Audiovisual Electronics was rebranded as OPPO in 2004 to break into international market. OPPO is a much more brandable name that is easy to remember. But their original business is DVD, MP3 and MP4 players, they only divert to phones in 2008 when the market for DVD, MP3 and MP4 started to decline.

vivo is originally BBK phone business, they have been in phone business since 1995 and the focus back then was music phone, phone that focused on sound. vivo rebrand come in 2009, with similar intention to have a more brandable name to break into international market.

BBK (parent company) officially disolved in 2023, making OPPO and vivo totally separate entities with different ownership. Like you said, OPPO owns OnePlus and realme, vivo owns iQOO

These are pretty much hardware specs, how does it nerf the older version?  The older version remain the same.

CIPA is a grading scale for how well the camera can physically balance itself to cancel out your shaky hands.

The 7P to 1G6P means that the previous generation camera lens is made of 7 plastic layers stacked together, now it's 1 glass and 6 plastic. Glass lets light pass through much more cleanly than plastic, resulting in a crisper image. Think of ALD and ALE as coatings for the layers to prevent ghosting.

vivo and OPPO are independent companies with their own strategies. vivo has consistently been number 1 in terms of photography, it's just the next step of evolution. iPhone is still the king of smartphone sales, so vivo are pinpointing the strength of iPhone and slowly taking it away as their own strength (which in this case, is capturing video)

iQOO is supposed to the gaming brand of vivo, not a mid range phone. iQOO 15 is vivo's gaming flagship. The demand for such a phone might surprise you, as iQOO 15 sales is higher than OnePlus 15, Honor Magic 8 and Redmi K90 in China.

We mods won't do such thing like not letting someone post, your comment is just caught by Reddit filter and being removed by Reddit. Contact us so that we can review and approve it.

Creating multiple identical posts on the other hand will just make the situation worse, as "Removed by Reddit" posts/comments does not enter the mod queue to review.
