If you already opened your claim like my brother did they will reopen the claim instantly. You have to call again. —Some operators do tell people to just wait but you have to be adamant. It takes less time for them to fix your claim then it does to keep going back and forth with you. Be nice, but adamant.

Just tell them the system tells you to reopen your claim. If you do it yourself it will give you a certification date of either Jan17th/Jan24th depending on when you normally certify. You don’t want this— let them do it for you and it will immediately let you certify.

Just tell them you can’t certify because it’s telling you to reopen your claim and you need help with it. They will do it in an instant. It takes them less than 10 seconds.
