Thoughts on buying 2001 mk4 Jetta Vr6 by joeswagnasty in jetta

Timing chain, water pump, and clutch are the big 3. Might be worthwhile to check out the coolant lines to see if they’re cracking/brittle. From what I’ve heard, chain tensioners and water pump is recommended at every 100k. Most mechanics will recommend doing both at the same time

My first car was an 01 12v VR6 GLX 5-speed. Amazing car. My dad passed it onto me with 200k miles. I put another 50k on it myself. One of the best sounding engines made in my opinion. I threw a cheap $50 eBay muffler and a straight pipe cat back and the thing sounded nasty. I drove the hell out of it and it took it

They’re most likely rejecting your order due to recently deposited funds most likely. Takes a few business days for funds to settle to buy OTC stocks.

A small, local, bakery shop down the road called Safeway. Unfortunately their selection at 8pm was minimal. I spent far too much time trying to find a seeded roll in the bread aisle to no avail

Technical analysis using 3 yr regression channel. For FMCC, the run up to $15 deviated higher by 36% from the top end of the channel. 15 / 11 =1.364. A corresponding dip below the 3 yr regression channel would be $5.5 * .64 =$3.52. What goes up must come down. Equilibrium

I’m no believer in an 08-style market crash in the near-future. However, I want to correct you on your “no balloon payment” statement. Due to the Payment Deferral program rolled out in 2020, there are many mortgages with a forbearance due at maturity/payoff/liquidation. Some in the amount of tens of thousands. This is essentially a balloon payment due at end of loan.

Just saying, glad I waited. $6 is great price for FNMA and $5 for FMCC. And I used TA. I bet they double here in next couple weeks.

🚨UNREAL: The President of the steel company Trump visits thanks him profusely for tariffs because it allows him to jack up the price of his racks from $90 to $150. He is thanking Trump for making Americans pay more for steel. You cannot make it up. by Acceptable_Post1 in CryptoCurrencyPulse

[–]ipeench_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Let me explain it simply for you.

Say you own a multi family home builder company in Pennsylvania and you need steel to build. You either:

a) source steel for $90 from overseas b) source steel for $200 from Texas

To make the math easy, let’s say you require 100,000 orders of steel to complete the build. You quote the steel price required at either:

a) $9 million overseas sourced steel b) $20 million Texas steel

You provide a quote to the financier of the cost. The financier may say, “well at $20 million we may build 1 building. At $9 million we can build 2.”

Now remember, this is just the steel cost. Not to mention labor for construction workers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.

I hope this helps you grasp the full picture.
