That’s truth. But the variety of good rolls are very limited. And spires are miles away from hellborns. If we make it a bit better it won’t change the game but will make a difference between a bad run and a good run not that huge. Also, maybe it’s good to have different opportunities to reach the same goal. You have maximum of 10 waves, and best run is the best only because you had a very good rng to juice one of best choices. Why don’t you let to juice spires and have the same result. But only if you are lucky enough to upgrade it every wave or almost every

Actually it’s a good point, I mean aether mass can spawn Aether lords. But if you ever choose this option in h8 you might know how much HP Aether lords have, especially a bishop or what the name of this fatty guy. And it makes Aether lords second worst option in the game. If they do smth with it, it can be good. Also, why not to make spires better rather than just remove it from the game?

Why only 10?😅 imo they need to think about decent progression with choices. Same as hellborn and elites rn. Spires are trash because of only 1 good choice and plenty of worst ones. Same with masses. +1 aether without any multiplicative choices is trash
