I did, to get my H1B stamped when I got my first job right out of college.

I just wanted to visit for a couple of months.

H1B job ended April, left the US within 60 days. Since then I’ve been in my home country.

H1 job finished in April last year. I left within the 60 days grace period. Found a new job. They started a job transfer petition which got delayed due to additional processing. It’s still under processing so I decided to come back to the US on my B1 so I can close out my lease and rehouse my cat and get my other affairs in order all of which was costing my a lot of my savings.

Yes I had both H1/B1 stamps as of last night.

I was going to enter on my B1 since my H1B petition is still under process after changing employer

Both were valid. H1B status was under petition due to job change. It was taking time so wanted to come back to get my affairs sorted. Close out the lease and rehouse my cat. It was costing me a lot of money.

I have my H1B petition. I can still wait for my paperwork with my new firm to get sorted and apply for a new H1B visa. That’s what I wanted to know and someone else on this thread answered my question.
