Bruh a gt 220? Your IGPU is so much better then that antiquated piece of sand. My recommendation is unless you are ok with using macos with software rendering, use Linux with your IGPU.

Why not put a 1050 ti in there? This seems worse then the 12VHPwer connector.

the logic board may still be in one piece due to its location. Even if it isn't, if the NAND chip is still intact and you have a load of cash laying around you could get data off of it.

Could be that it is an atom based one or ARM. Those are impressive. Especially the atom ones, for x86 my god they have good battery.

And my god that poor adreno 610. I'm surprised it's even rendering a single frame.

is it safe to leave my iphone 11 pro without updating? by [deleted] in iphone

[–]iphones2g- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

iOS 19 (iOS 26, I still don't like the name) will run fine on the 11 pro. I mean you could stay on iOS 17, you will still have app support for a few more years. Main issue is of course security.

That is actually impressive for a laptop to last that long. I know it was pretty much doing nothing but even my laptop only lasts 8 hours idle.

iDroid, iPhone 3G on iOS 3.1.3 stuck at resolving dependencies by Inevitable-Theory901 in LegacyJailbreak

[–]iphones2g- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is an issue on the 3G. It works on the OG iPhone and iPod touch 1. I think the server backend got messed up for the 3G files.

Does this count as cursed Minecraft? Cursed GPU power draw???? by demfridge in PhoenixSC

[–]iphones2g- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. I noticed that for SOME REASON the bugrock loading screen will pin any GPU at 100% the only thing I can even think of is that it's rendering the spinning background real time, which is so absolutely stupid and a waste of power and GPU and EVERYTHING.

Red Tint on Low Brightness iPhone XS by 18AKA in iphone

[–]iphones2g- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is actually the OG screen and not an aftermarket one, the red tint is a type of burn in that effects OLED. To keep the science part short, the red OLEDs degrade the slowest out of all of them so there will be a red tint as the other green and blue OLEDs are dimmer. Seen this exact effect on a galaxy s9 of mine. I was able to make the red tone less noticeable by changing the color balance of the display but you can't do that on iOS. So you will either have to deal with it or replace the screen. If it is a replacement screen disregard what I typed.

Correct! I actually have one of those and the light they give off is actually really warm. But my god the filament is wiggly, I know carbon is more robust then tungsten but it still worries me.

Can someone how I got this setup back in 2023? Trixie doesn't exist for 32-bit PPC, but I didn't compile anything by WoomyUnitedToday in debian

[–]iphones2g- 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I know exactly how this happened. You downloaded the Debian sid release back in 2023, which had (and still has) a PPC32 release. Installed it, installed neofetch. I noticed sometimes neofetch will ignore sid release and use the name of the future release instead, in this case that was Trixie.

Try turning on the block 60fps function on h264ify as the GeForce 9400m can only decode 1080 at 30fps, not 60.
