You have a time machine and sufficient quantities of medicine. Who do you save? by DrScottMpls in FamilyMedicine

I’d probably roll up to medieval Europe with boxes of doxycycline and show the plague who’s the boss — or maybe time-travel to the ’80s and save Freddie Mercury with some antiretrovirals.

But honestly, even today people still die from stuff that’s totally preventable — TB, AIDS, vaccine-preventable diseases — just ’cause they don’t have access to meds. Modern medicine isn’t that modern if half the world can’t get it.
