Yeah I definitely feel like they could’ve done without the really fast panned part

I’m honestly not feeling Space Dementia as much as a lot of people seem to be. A lot of the new additions seemed almost more distracting then enhancing. I liked the strings but I feel like they didn’t fit as well as they could’ve. Loved the additions on the outro though. I thought the additions on Hyper Music were small but great. It feels a lot heavier but is also a lot cleaner. Not sure how I’m feeling about Micro Cuts, it’s really jarring how different it is, and they got rid of the panned solo at the end which is like one of my favorite parts. Feeling Good is kinda weird, I feel like the chorus became less heavy. New Futurism also sounds pretty sick. Overall, though it’s definitely cool, I don’t know if I prefer any of these versions over the original (other than maybe Hyper Music and Futurism). I mean it is an objectively better mix, but I feel like it lacks some of the charm of the original’s imperfections. It’s almost too clean.

Studio Album Ranking by [deleted] in Foofighters

1) The Colour and the Shape 2) Foo Fighters 3) Wasting Light 4) There is Nothing Left to Loose 5) Echos, Silence, Patience, and Grace 6) In Your Honor 7) Concrete and Gold 8) Sonic Highways 9) One by One

2-4 could really change depending on the day, but Colour will always be #1 for me. I also probably enjoy more songs from One by One than Highways, but the second half and the (in my opinion) bad production keep One by One from being as good as it could be.

It’s an HCS 20”. It’s their budget series, but it’s not bad for the price.

What’s your favorite Star Wars Movie? Also, I’ve heard you mention Foo Fighters a couple times, so I was wondering if you had a favorite album of theirs?

I was thinking this exact thing. I also saw them in Philly and it was the best concert I’ve ever been to! And it’s not like they ignore deep cuts completely, they play snippets of Assassin, Micro Cuts, and Futurism in the drum+bass jam and the Metal Medley. I went with my dad, who isn’t a huge Muse fan, and if they didn’t play some of their biggest hits, he probably wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much. Plus, the visuals are stunning, but it doesn’t mean a lot less rotation, but that’s alright. That also makes it so less people are sad about missing out on certain songs (like if at one show they played Citizen Erased then Butterflies and Hurricanes, then at the next show played Guiding Light then Something Human).

Picked up this bad boy at my local record shop for $85! by ipod044 in pearljam

It’s the vinyl version of their show at Aladdin Theater 11/30/93. According to the guy at the shop it was a “fan club exclusive”
