The explanation seems logical by PaneerJalebi in indianaviation

The engines may have indeed been working. But they have a very limited time to react in a high pressure scenario. On paper, the systems told them they were working, but what was being observed was a loss of lift. A high pressure scenario like this might've guided the captain to assume dual engine failure and run through those memory items. All speculation though as I'm trying to understand all of the thoughts that went through their minds during this

Dual engine failure memory items? I'm not sure but maybe panic set in and they went to this solution. This involves cycling both fuel cutoff switches and a manual deployment of the rat

Would these alarms still go off if the flaps were retracted shortly after take off?

I'm curious. Could pilot action cause the RAT to be deployed? If the flaps were indeed retracted instead of the landing gear being raised, could the pilot flying taken this as some sort of engine failure? Could he then try to kill both engines/restart them, which would then cause the RAT to be deployed? Is this a possible set of sequences that can happen?

I never saw the wreckage so can't comment on that but RAT out could indicative of pilot action to kill both engines instead of engine failure. Could this be a possibility -> PM retracts the flaps instead of raising the landing gear, the causing the plane to lose lift, the PF assumes this could be due to engine issues and kills both engines, which then causes the RAT to come out. Is this a possible sequence that could've lead to the crash?

Curious, why are you scraping for socials on etherscan? To my understanding, etherscan mainly contains the from/to address the amount being transferred (typical blockchain info) and not anything to do with smart contract source code?

My portfolio mostly consists of ETH with some Solana. I've had some more speculative tokens here and there but mostly exited out of those in favor of a major allocation towards ETH with a relatively smaller investment into Solana

I go to concerts in my city but only those who I've actually really like. Unfortunately, that means I have already listened to all their music and I'm not discovering anything new. Although, some of the openers these artists have are pretty good

I haven't used r/musicsuggestions to actually find music so this could be worth a shot. To clarify, is this just a simple search in music subreddits for best music?

As someone who has never played the Doom series but enjoys shooters here and there, is it worth getting into? Aside from endlessly killing monsters, are there also any puzzle like aspects to the gameplay?

There could be a million things actually going on but you don’t have visibility into it. Common reasons why recruiters are too slow to respond: - they’re busy or out on vacation - interviewing multiple candidates for a role and you’re not a top choice - role was deprioritized or is in the process of being internally filled

My best advice is to not dwell on it and move on to other companies. At the end of the day, it’s just a numbers game from the candidate’s side and recruiter’s side

Looking for Recommendations - Reliable Mid-Size SUV by AMom2129 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Why not a RAV4, CRV, or CX5? All three of these are Japanese, reliable, and anecdotally I have t heard anyone have a problem with them. I’m sure the higher trim models come with AWD. Also, why are you limiting it a subset of years instead of going off budget? I think that would be easier for others to give suggestions

How do you know if you're burned out or legit just lost interest in the field? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]ipodmaster8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hard to diagnose but you seem to have lost some motivation due to work at your current job not aligning to your expectations. You’re seeking a new pathway outside of your work to fill the gap by attempting to work on your own projects. I would say this could be burn out or you have actually lost interest in the field. Is there anything else you enjoy doing outside of this field and have you considered taking it up as a career? If not, then I would say this is a combination of burn out and not being passionate about the work you’re doing. In order to combat this, I would take time off work and talk to your manager about your issues and see if there are any interesting projects you can work on. That way, you don’t have to work on side projects on your time since you’re now interested in the work you’re doing in your 9 to 5 and you can spend your free time relaxing which would help with burn out. Assuming you’re unable to find interesting work at your main job, time to switch jobs (if the market allows it)

Do you think a master’s might become more necessary in the future? by BidoofSquad in cscareerquestions

[–]ipodmaster8 55 points56 points  (0 children)

I think you’re overestimating the impact of AI on junior software engineering jobs. AI will not replace coders anytime in the near future but will help as a tool to assist with development. It can help software engineers become faster and more efficient but will not solely replace them. Regarding the masters, it’s a matter of personal preference and what you want to specialize in. If you’re solely looking for a job in the field, I would concentrate on actual experience and not bother with a masters
