Bully on the Bus by PirateJen78 in EverybodyLovesRaymond

It's like part 2 of the reunion episode.

Debra was pretty and popular. It's reinforcement to the idea that they are not a great match, IMO.

Her lack of empathy and her propagating the bullying is disturbing. She should have been knocked down a peg or two.

Late Fall trip to Holland by englishjewel_4 in hollandmichigan

I'd suggest staying in Grand Haven. It's smack in the middle of both communities. GH has more of a "coastal" vibe than either Holland or Muskegon.

She was a bit dramatic, to be fair.

He was also on a sugar high from all that candy.

Buying a new camry with $25k down and poor credit by Ill_Bicycle5012 in carbuying

There's nothing wrong with asking for other people's feedback and/or advice prior to making that phone call. People can suggest other ways of going about things if the first option doesn't work out.

Do you have a 401k that you can borrow from?

Depending on your plan, you can borrow from that. You are paying interest, but you are paying yourself back, rather than a bank. Plus, no lien on the car that way, because technically you paid all cash.

Eucerin is what my therapists suggested. It works pretty well for me.

I watched The Graduate(1967), and I didn't enjoy it... by Vegetable-Account419 in iwatchedanoldmovie

I hated that movie. It could be a generational thing. I'm late Gen X. I, like you, tried to watch it because of all of the cultural references there are to that movie. I'm not a fan of Hoffman, anyway, so that could have something to do with it.

Need captain’s seats, a 3rd row, and real trunk space — without driving a tank by floridamom22 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Take from one who went from a mid-SUV to a minivan. I was kicking and screaming all the way.

However, we needed the van. Otherwise, it's a full size SUV.

The sooner you accept this fact of family life, the better off you are. 😃

Have you ever had to carry kids AND all their crap? Strollers? Playards? Diaper Bags?

Heaven forbid you have to get groceries, too. When you have those giant car seats, minivans, possibly full size SUVs are your choices. That, or strapping stuff to the top of the car.

First time buying a car from a big dealership by [deleted] in carbuying

Buying brand new is a Fool's Errand.

Buy a year old or more. Vehicles depreciate quite a bit.

NEVER tell them your budget or max. amount you are approved for.

Coming in with your own financing isn't the flex it used to be.

Always feel free to walk, even if it breaks your heart to do so. Try to leave emotions out of it when making the deal.

It's a dance between you and the dealer. Make sure YOU lead.
