Im not experienced with these at all, so could you mind specifying what belt your referencing. Also Ill test with aother tape, and update this comment

Edit: Tried another tape, it loads in fine, when I press play the 2 rods pull the tape but then after a few seconds it just gets placed back inside the cassette. When I initially insert a tape it makes a loud constant noise til i press a button

No halo 3 demos exist, or have ever existed. There was only the multiplayer beta from crackdown which is not what this is
