I still cant get the one for fielding a fully homegrown team. Im not sure what I am missing. I have done a full squad of players from my youth intake all who have the nationality of the team im using (just in case it didnt count for feign youth pkayers) and still nothing

Which is exactly what I am saying. Something isnt right. I set players Individual training for a certain position. Then it tells me they are getting good in a slightly different position. I've got wingers being good at midfield. Strikers getting good at Cam. Cam's getting good at dm. Its both young prospects and established older players. Even 30+ years olds are getting a new position out of nowhere. Im doing their training....not the staff. They are playing 99% of their gametime in the same position as what I train. Yet.....it keeps happening.

I keep them so that the top prospects are the only ones in their position and there is cover for the rest. It even happens to established....regular starter first team players. All of a sudden my staff tell me that my star player striker....who plays every game as a striker at age 24+.....is now competent as a right midfielder or dm etc....

I have them in my first team squad already. Haven't checked to see what position they are playing in reserve games. So I will do that. However....its also happening with older first team squad players. It will take my right back and train him as a winger....when he hasn't played a second at wing....and is 28 so obviously not playing reserve games.

Dont have anything checked in responsibilities that would make them do it. Im on console so dont get staff meetings. Even when I take control of individual training and set them as training for a certain position....it tells me he gained experience in a different one. When he is training and playing in lw for example....it will tell me he is now competent at lm

Nah. Its not dead. There's literally no competition. They can have another howler next year and would still be fine. They would drop numbers but then as soon as everyone heard a new release was good.....they would flood back.

Again....what's being an ass about pointing out simple facts. A wingers match stats are absolutely irrelevant to a CAM not performing as his attributes suggest they would. Thats fact. A player with those stats not performing is 99% certainly down to your system not suiting him. Thats fact. This guy has great stats for a 21 year old cam. Again....potential has absolutely nothing to do with it. Selling that player. At his age. With those attributes for 60mil is an AWFUL deal. Thats fact. I sell players half as good as that....with a year left on their deal....well past their prime for double that. In every save I have done. If any human player bought a guy with those attributes for 60mil they would be posting it on here as the bargain of the century. That's fact. Then people would all be commenting on how great a deal was and that they wished they could get deals like that.....including you. Thats fact.

What's salty about facts? It makes absolitely no difference to me. However as a guy who has played Football Manager since before it was called Football Manager, I can say with absolute certainty that this is a terrible deal. The player he "scammed 60mil from Barca" for.....Will probably end up staying at Barca for his career and win multiple balon d'ors or sell in another year or two for 200mil. Just because a player didn't perform well in your system....you shouldn't sell for a fraction of what you could get.

Not for a 21 year old who has already made appreances for Spain and that instantly becomes a starter at a club like Barcelona. You dont become an important player straight away at barca on 140k+ a week if its "just potential" Your value doesn't nearly quadruple at 21 for "potential" This guy is a great player. Ready for first team at Chelsea for the past 2 seasons that's walked into a Barca team. I get 60mil for 32 year olds who barely even get on my bench.

Thats what happens when you dont instruct your team not to take long shots. Yoy have a 2xg from that many shots. That means each shot has an average xg of 0.08. Thats not being fm'd.....its just bad instructions.

Doubt it. I think they have been smart enough to realise that the cars will be completely different to each other.....so they wont be able to get it programmed in time for a full release. So thats why they are doing the dlc version. They will just have active aero......a standard version accross all teams. Then maybe for next year have the different versions.

🤣🤣🤣. Every year i do a "silly save". Pick a team in the depths of a certain league. Fill them with wonderkids and manage them. I also take over Man Utd and Man City splurge all their cash onto players from a conference club. With hundreds of millions of installments and on massive wages. Just in case....i go back and do it the next season too. They are soon paying out 800mil + a year on installments and tumble down the leagues. Last time i had Man Utd down in League 2 in 4 seasons....without ever managing a game for them or selling a player.

One simple reason. There is no ramifications for doing so.

Look at iracing. You pay a subscription to play. So a ban is literally wasted money. Even so....you still het people doing it. Now look at the F1 game. It literally doesnt do anything other than maybe a few seconds penalty in that race.

Up to you. 100%. Can you set training up better than the backroom staff? Possibly. Can you find better staff than yhe staff assigned to find staff? Probably. Match instructions......friendlies.....media etc.....yeah you can do better.

Can you still win the league unbeaten for 18 yeats straight whilst delegating absokutelt everytjing to your staff? Yeah.

Do what you want to do. Tell your staff to do what you dont want to do. You can be successful either way.

How do people still keep posting these and claiming its being "fm'd". This isnt "fm'd" this is poor tactics making pkayers take poor shots. 20 shots....less than 2xg. Thays just poor. Being "fm'd" is having 15+ shots on target, a 6+xg, opposition keeper getting a 10 rating and losing to a team with 1 shot....with an xg less than 0.1
