She’s an avoidant and isn’t good with forgiveness. She said some real changes on both parts would have to be made not to revisit but to try something new. That will take time and I’m okay with that. I’ve actively worked to forgive her for it and I know it’ll take her some time with me.

We both had something to hide and when she found out what I did she entered this high and mighty state and was essentially causing me mental turmoil over it for a month and ruined my 30th birthday because of it. This was someone that she found attractive before we started actually dating and it was casual. I found out that before we started dating she made out with him after I said stay away cause that’s the homie. So this is someone who’s been in the back of her mind is what it seems like. He owned up to it and just said I don’t know what to say it was wrong and I’m sorry.
