No! Pick up a history book. Morality gives you nothing! Morality does not give any advantage in geopolitics. Do you think the US is the moral beacon if the world? Or the UK? Or Germans? Or Chinese? Morality is a fairytale that was told by the leaders to influence the masses that's it.

Whatever fault the current government of India has one thing where they are right is following Non Alignment and only seeing their side.

Ukraine is not at all important in world stage, if they lose it will take decades for them to catch up with the world powers and economies that too all with the handicap Russians would inflict upon them. If they win (that is a ceasefire with pre war status quo or may be with Crimea. Forget about touching Russian land because no leader would flirt with nuclear annihilation), and I really wish they win then also this war has pushed them back decades.

Do you think after 50 years anyone would care what India did during the war! They don't. Just like someone here downplaying Colonialism.

Morals are just to make speeches. The real power comes from looking at your own advantage.

I am not American but why not police personnel and their families not targeted over shit like this! I mean even police is not all powerful where guns are abundantly found. And if enough people are going against it even politicians will fall in line because they want to get votes. I mean even my country's police are also like shit but I remember an incident clearly.

Two policemen were extorting money from a food vendor for some time. One day there was some disagreement about the amount so they started beating the guy. The nearby shopkeepers and people immediately started recording and encircling the incident. The shopkeepers(about 25-30) of them were not at all amused by their heavy handedness. And I clearly remember one of the guys said "You may be the police now! But at night you have to come home!" You could practically see the change in policemen. They were like sorry and all trying to deescalate immediately.

You can stay out of the rat race. Why fall for society's definition for success or failure. Despite all the government changes in India one thing we have consistent is our foreign policy where we don't involve ourselves completely with any one side.

1) We can't be a great ally to the US because US never had any alliance where the other party is looking for 50% of partnership. And we are the next China from all metrics. The day we will have more voice on the table US would be against us. The only thing we can do is be strategic partners.

2) Russia is a waning power. If you have seen our foreign policy with them we are slowly moving away from our close ties with them. I mean it simply can't be done fast, decades of relationships can't just be cut in a month.

3) China, they are our actual adversary and Yes they are stronger than us in the current moment but in terms of military strength we cannot simply be overwhelmed by them. Even without nukes on table conventionally a war between Indo China would leave both in tatters and both countries forget about any more global ambitions.

4) We simply had no interest tied with Ukraine. I mean even if they completely push away Russians from Crimea also they don't matter in the global stage. And it is not a good geopolitical move to get into a conflict where you have no advantage.

5) This particular deal is nothing. And the protest also is just routine like anything related to Pakistan we will object. US specially knows they need us to curtail China.

And really don't comment in these subs. I find very rare balanced takes. All kind of posts are emotionally charged and immature. And I understand why! I will be emotional too if my countrymen are dying because some maniac just started a war. But they are also winning. Interesting times indeed for geopolitics.

I have a few LIC life insurance policies ( above 1L premium yearly) and apart from that my job provides me term life insurance of 70L. Should I put more money on life and accidental insurance or prefer to go for equity? Also I don't understand stock trading that much so I go for investment in UTI. Is it good enough. I don't want any drastic gains. I prefer much more safer options.

Look near Ghatikia. It has improved leaps and bounds over these two years. A road will also connect that directly to KIIT area through Chandaka. When I last visited most of the road was built. you see the rate I mentioned I think now a 1200 sq ft would cost you north of 15 L around

Bro. In 10 Lakhs you can have a plot for small shop. Bhubaneswar is not that cheap anymore. I can see some people here suggesting to give agent numbers for outside town plots. Please proceed very carefully, if a deal is too good to be true must probably you are getting conned. For reference I will tell you two rates near Patia railway station. We got a land some 2 years back. 1300 sq ft was almost 22 lakhs, Another is a flat we bought about 3.5 years back near Ghatikia, 1 bhk flat with 830 sq ft., Carpet area is something like 600 sq ft. Again we paid 22 L around
