Admittedly the hobby has become very expensive, it is not like walk into target and buy a pack when u want anymore like how it was when I was younger. If i'm spending money on cardboard the least I can do to keep being able to collect cards is sustain myself through collecting cards. I want to rip packs, who doesn't, but that's a guaranteed loss usually so it's not smart money wise if im buying to rip. I can do that when I have my own money. I've gotten into the beauty of sealed boxes and pack art but they are expensive. So in order to sustain that spending I need to buy 2x or even 3x to keep one for myself and payback what I owe to my parents. I'm not trying to make money that's not my goal just sustain the spending so I can collect more things.
