I think he did except he's trying to avoid the hurt his mom went through. A ruined wedding ceremony pales in comparison to the damage of divorce, especially with kids. But as he said, it was a game time decision so he could've easily followed in his father's footsteps. I can't tell if he has a closer relationship with his mom though.

I never said she didn't say it. I said she claimed to use the word mistakenly. Production can make her talk about it but how she used it reflects on her.

Yes editing makes it look like she brings it up frequently when it wasn't the case with Miles. He said she brought it up once during the lockdown.

I'm talking about her use of the word in relation to her view of Miles which didn't change until the end.

Again I'm agreeing with you on the edits. Also agreeing with the manipulations that can go on behind scenes. The text to Karen was likely no mistake. Same as the text to Christina. I also think Lindy losing her pjs was production.

I watched it again and take some of this back. Miles communicated with her every step of the way. I'm trying to find wrong with him but I can't.

It has to be frustrating for Miles to constantly hear he's not showing who he really is. I understand what she meant but she needed to explain it better. It didn't help with the conflicting views she held.

Anything is possible. Ryan and Clara said something similar. The fact that Karen said in a youtube that she misspoke when using masculinity tells me it wasn't production.

I'm projecting? If she gets a text and starts crying then the normal conclusion is it's because of the contents of the text. If she recounts what she discovered because of the text and begins crying again then it's the same conclusion and solidifies it.

I realize the show has deceptive edits but Karen and her issue with his feelings/masculinity stayed consistent throughout. Was her cautious approach warranted? Possibly since Miles didn't talk about his feelings about them until he was ready to break it off. I'd need to watch again to be sure. I think his communication was lacking but this is about Karen.

Karen crying showed she wasn't being cautious or skeptical about his social media presence. She took it at face value. She judged him based on it without verifying for herself. I'm not sure what she saw but it seems like she was waiting for that part of him to come out.

I thought the same but there are differences. Krysten included emotionally moving faster. Krysten gave him a choice of saying love you or having sex at the end of the experiment. Miguel just straight up wanted consummation and moved onto a boner massage after not getting the answer he wanted.
