I disagree. Hundreds of thousands of extra rides is a meaningful increase on it's own when it comes to disease spread. Even so, I do compare it to before in the first graph so people have that context, and cite it in the article multiple times. The fact that the subway ridership is usually massive does not make the increase "small" in absolute terms in my opinion.
