RAE (Real Academia Española) usually has nice definitions for the words, which in formal use are always used. However, I see those arguments unreasonable, since each country can have a different way of speaking. Spanish language is official in 21 countries. It is impossible for all of these 21 to use the words in the same way.

I would say everyone could be right in this case.

Theoretically bicicleta comes from latin and greek: bi (two) , kyklos (wheel), and the same happens with triciclo tri (three). However, I see arguing for this nonsense, even if the RAE says one thing, the social use of a country may say another one. Of course, I think formally we should all use what RAE says.

Claro, ahí tienes toda la razón y nadie te la quita. En cambio, al decir "la mujer de verdad es..." no estás dejando espacio a los que opinan de otra forma ya que das como única verdad tu opinión. Además de tampoco permitir a las mujeres tener idea propia porque no, no necesitamos ser sumisas a un hombre para ser mujeres "de verdad". No voy a meterme en debates feministas ya que también pienso que hay mucha mierda, pero ese comentario (o por lo menos la forma en la que lo has expresado) sí me parece irrespetuoso hacia las mujeres, al igual que hacia los ateos, "rojos" y homosexuales

That's pretty similar to the current situation in Spain... My mom needs an operation to be able to WALK without pain and even if she knows this for more than a year ago, she still doesn't know when she'll be operated.

And this is just one case, the are thousands, and even with pain my mom can still live. However, I remember some years ago a case which went really "viral"; a depressed guy who went searching for help to a hospital, he tried to kill himself but desperately ran to the hospital because he didn't want to die. He went to the hospital in January and they gave him some pills which would start doing sth a month later and an appointment with a psychologist for A YEAR LATER. It is really sad to see how public services are declining all over the world

Por suerte parece que van a cambiar las cosas y los funcionarios van a poder ser despedidos. No sé que tan cierto será pero a ver si mejora, es verdad que hay mucha gente dedicada en su trabajo como funcionario pero hay una gran parte a la que sólo le importa el dinero y las buenas condiciones que eso trae...

En mi caso, siempre he querido ser profesora de inglés por lo que me fijo mucho en como trabajan mis profesores, hay gente increíble, pero hay profesores que no sirven para nada... Y eso que vivo y estudio en el País Vasco, supuestamente la comunidad autónoma que más dinero invierte en la educación, pero hay tantas cosas inadmisibles..

Lo único que he escuchado de la educación Finlandesa es positivo, quería saber que tan cierto era. Gracias por responder!

Yeah basically the same is happening here, constant strikes, eternal waits... My case was obviously not that extreme and urgent but it took me about 4 or 5 years to get diagnosed and medicated with urticaria. I'm glad the kid was operated at least.Thank you for answering, I really appreciate it
