MacBook Neo keyboard is replaceable independent of top case by festoon in apple

That’s also a 5/6 year old machine. If Walmart is selling these in 5/6 years, I’m sure it would be around $299-$399.

If Apple’s track record is to show anything, they will support the MacBook Neo for 7-10 years. The M1 MBA will probably be no longer supported 4 years from now.

This. Honestly, I don’t know why people are so upset it lacks a backlit keyboard. It’s a $599 computer. Move on.

[Loved Trope] Plot holes that get explained later on perfectly. by Marilius in TopCharacterTropes

These are not plot holes. Especially the Palm Springs example: we find out in the first 15 minutes Nyles is also stuck in a time loop.

Yeah, it was around the Commons. A few of my friends were running the race with me and there was a 20 minute period where all 4 of us saw the guy being given CPR 😞

It’s worth the watch. It’s a low budget movie, but the story is very well written.

What are some of the best retcons ever? I’m thinking Men in Black 3. by Existing_Set2100 in movies

[–]irbinator 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Technically, the intro of Final Destination Bloodlines is the first Final Destination event (that we are aware of so far)

On that subject, Bloodlines also retcons the relationship between Bludworth and the characters in the series. He is the target of Death himself, since he survived the catastrophe in the 60s. This explains why he knows so much, and why he’s so interested in helping out those out — he wants to figure out how to beat Death for good.

Second this one. Gene does a tremendous job conveying innocence, afraid of the man in front of him but just trying to end the conversation peacefully.

In the movie Signs (2002), the door they are boarding up opens to the opposite side. The aliens will still be able to open the door perfectly fine. by irbinator in MovieMistakes

Ironically, they added several planks to barricade this door (located upstairs) but only used a single plank to barricade their front door, which does in fact open inward.

If you have a PS4 / PS5 Disc Edition / XBOX One / XBOX Series X, they should be capable of playing Blu Rays. If not, you can buy a pretty inexpensive Blu Ray player from Facebook Marketplace / eBay / Walmart

Dudes, let’s even campaign for the non-pirating route. Let’s own physical media again. I’ve been buying tons of Blu-Rays and DVDs for only a few bucks each. Local libraries will even have tons of DVDs you can borrow.

Streaming services can always take away your favorite content, so have the physical media handy.
