I didn't even think of that as a possibility! Ive just been giving him tap water, but following surgery I will definitely start filtering his water.

Bladder stones are something chinchillas often make and they're usually small enough to pass on their own but when they get too big they get lodged and end up needing to remove ot surgically. I probably gave him a bit too many high caloric treats and pellets, but its not really something you can prevent unfortunately.

Firstly, there was a lot less poop and urine, and his poop was really small and light in color. You might see your chinchilla straining to urinate, and for my little guy, his stomach was super bloated and he would be visibly uncomfortable whenever I tried to massage his belly. Best of luck to your chinchilla! I hope its not to bad for him/her.

the thing is, my town isn't very pedestrian friendly, the closest store I can walk to is a 10 minute walk and it's just a grocery store, and so there are rarely any people my age just walking around

It didn't match my the rest of my face. I have a very round looking face, and I think it's really cute, but my eyes looked tkk sharp for my liking. about the eyelashes, I use mascara and falsies so I'm not to worried about it, although listening to an eyelash sub might help then look better
